The Dragon Youth Project is a program of our Community Health Promotion division. DRAGON stands for Dedicated to Risk-taking Adolescents with Guidance, Opportunities & Knowledge. Our goal is to serve at-risk youth in the community by providing services that educate them on making healthy choices in the areas of drug & alcohol abuse, teen pregnancy, HIV/STI prevention. Dragon Youth Project works with these youth to help them enhance their self-esteem, and decision-making, personal control, and communication skills. Programs include Reconnecting Youth (a life skills education group), Girls Circle (a gender specific peer support group), Photovoice (community assessment through taking photographs), and a new teen pregnancy prevention program.

Hi y'all!
I wanted to share your work with photovoice at a healthy schools conference. Can you direct me to a report or pics on your work? I just think its one of the best examples of youth engagement in Colorado! THanks!
Awesome, Dragon Youth Project, keep up the good work and let's definitely figure out collaborations! For one, if any of the young people in the group want to submit something for our art show on April 23rd...it just has to be hang-ready by April 19th so I can hang it downtown in the days following. Maybe some of the students would want to include something!
