Hi, Amy
Most of the sources you suggested for bullying curriculum are fee-based curriculums. I'm not ready to spend what small budget I have...
I did stumble upon another curriculum I haven't gotten too deep into.. Don't Laugh at Me. So far it looks good
Thanks for checking in

Hi Amy. I'm not yet involved at CYD. I was invited by one of my students.

I teach at CEC Middle College in Denver Public Schools.

Great site!

Sure thing! Yea not sure why it doesn't come up in Google until the 3rd or 4th one down when you type in Durango Youth Coalition. Weird. I think I must have to pay extra or do something more than what I have done to note the keywords to make it pop up on Google? No idea, it is a pretty new website. Anyways, things are going well, trying to keep moving forward with the DYC and get more established in town, think about fiscal sponsorship, then grants, and trainings in the fall, etc!

Awesome! Please call me Chip.. by the way, fits me much better. I would love to do that and will do my best to fit in whatever I can do. I downloaded your power point and really liked it! Can't wait to see the report in June. My partners and I just launched a new effort we call Coping Connections in the 18th Judicial (started in Douglas County) with our first focus group session held at Skyridge Medical Center last Friday. We are also supervising a youth group who will be putting together their own video on youth stress and depression fashioned after John's Hopkin's model "Shift The Lens". We are calling it "Hear Our Voice". We have been building since the fall of 08 and have many on board from nine different community segments, but we have much work to do and a long way to go.

Thank you Amy! Rich Batten from the Fatherhood Council (State Human Services) just referred me to the Colorado Youth Development: ning.com. I am very interested in the Youth Initiative Program, youth leadership development and building the strengths of our youth. I am interested to help in any way that I can and I am looking forward to meeting with you as well and learning more.

The mag worked super cool at first, then flopped. I took it off the page and am just blogging now.

Hey Amy,
It was great to meet you too! Yes, I do work with Marti Tombari. We have been working with him to develop more effective evaluation, which is a large challenge with the particular group that we serve. I look forward to staying better connected with Colorado Youth Development!
